I am Nupur Dasgupta, a Nottingham-based artist. When I was a little girl, one of my favorite Disney movies was The Little Mermaid. Of course, being a little girl, I automatically believed that Ariel and her “mer-world” were a real phenomenon. I dream of living in a simple little house by a lake in deep forest!
So I created this artwork. A lake surrounded by forest-inspired Wall art with preserved moss and resin. When I was a little girl, I was obsessed with Disney movies. I loved the idea of the princess and her prince charming, Fairies, Fantasy, Magic, wicked witch, true love kiss and live happily ever after. I couldn’t wait to grow up and feel the magic of true love! Besides that, I have a little obsession with crafting miniatures and arts. Most of my artworks are fantasy and fairyland themed!

Green walls are an exciting way to make your living room, office, or showroom appear more natural and healthy. There are several options for when you're ready to go with a green wall covering. First, there are round moss wall art, the full length, or even just a smaller section of your wall covered in moss. This works great when you want the moss to cover a larger area or simply a smaller section of a wall. Also, moss covered wall art can also be made into a puzzle to make it look like a very special puzzle that is unique only to you. Moss wall decor also makes a beautiful item for your home. It adds a lot of greenery to any room, whether it's the living room dining room family room or bedroom. Some people like to use Greenery throughout their house in various areas such as in the bathroom, along the stairs, on the foyer, along the patio, in the basement, or just about anywhere you might think of green-ing up your home. Also, keep in mind that not all moss is toxic, just some. Some people have allergies to certain types of molds, so it's important that you do your research before hanging any artwork featuring moss. The other great thing about using moss covered wall art or other preserved greenery plants is that it's easy to do, requires little maintenance, and can enhance the beauty of any home. You may choose to hang your artwork panels without frames around them, or frame the artwork on its own to create a unique conversation piece or adorn your walls in any way you see fit. If you like the look of moss covered walls but find the decorating task difficult, you may want to try hanging the greenery plants on hooks. This will allow you to move your greenery plants from one place to another whenever the mood takes you.

Q1: HOW OFTEN SHOULD I WATER MY TERRARIUM? Mist lightly every three weeks with filtered water or if you can store rain water, that would be best(only if dry). Too much water can lead to mold. Moss doesn’t have traditional roots and takes in nutrients from water on its surface leaves. Q2: SHOULD I PUT IT ON A WINDOWSILL? You want to avoid putting it in direct sunlight – this can lead to too much humidity, and mold development. However, although most varieties of moss thrive in shade in their natural habitats, when indoors they grow best in bright artificial light (great for offices!) or indirect sunlight. Q3: MY MOSS IS TURNING BROWN! There are several factors that could be causing this. Moss can also turn brown if you are using tap water instead of filtered water (tap water can have too much chlorine). Or your moss could also need more light – try moving your terrarium closer to a bright indoor light or spot with indirect sun. Learning how to grow moss indoors is a simple task; in fact, this can be a good project for parents and children to do together. Start with a clear glass container that has a lid, such as a terrarium or a large jar. Place about an inch of pebbles in the bottom of the container, then top that with about an inch of granulated charcoal, which you can find in fish supply stores. Add two inches of potting soil and mist the soil with a spray bottle filled with clear water. Terrarium is an art, here is some ideas for you.
